Notes

Very easy pattern and clear instructions. After I washed/felted the hat in the washing machine and dried it, I realized the hat is really fuzzy. So I have decided to shave it with hair clippers. Now my hat looks like the fabric like you would see in the mall with fancy hats. I am very impressed how felting transforms knitted fabric from textured to homogeneous mass. Love it.

Suggestions:

A. I would knit 9” instead of 10” from the brim. The hat is slightly taller than I would want it.

B. I would also knit the brim with 1 size bigger needles than the hat if you wish to have more defined bell shape.
