Notes:

My tutorials. See my tutorial how to block dresses: https://www.heavenlyclassyknits.com/tutorials

It is a gorgeous motif! 20 sts X 32R. I borrowed it from Julia-N. I know I have made lots of dresses already. But there is no such thing as too many dresses!

Note on the yarn. I have dyed this yarn in 4 orange shades from original color “raku” using jacquard acid. I liked the original color pallete, but I could not come up with a perfect pattern for it. You can still see some fibers with the original colors on the lightest shade of orange. They look more green than blue though, it is adorable. It gives the yarn fancy and authentic look!

Dress construction. One peace dress. Bottom up. Sleeves are poet shaped, knitted separately. Collar is made out of ribbing. All ribbing are done with needles#0 (collar, sleeve cuffs and belt). Everything else was knitted on needles #2.

Sleeves. 4 rep wide and 3.5 rep long including shaping for cap sleeves.

Skirt. 30 rep wide, 8 rep at the waist, 5.5 rep long. Finished with ribbed belt. Approx 25” in long from the natural waist.

Slip. 100% polyester, light green( lime) to accentuate the orange shades of the dress. It gives the dress hallow look.

Pattern and the bumps. This motif surprisingly easy to knit and remember. My nupps( bumps) are made like this. Knit the stitch front and back 12 times i.e 1 st turns into 12. Then turn work around and knit together all 12 sts. Then turn work again and continue to knit the pattern.
