March 7, 2012: This pattern is for shawl, but I wanted a skirt. So I have worked it in the round and started with the Row #20-65 (needle size 4),66-86 (size 6), 87-133 and 188-198 (size 8). Skirt is about 27” long including 19sts wide in seeding pattern waistband. The waistband was knitted separately and was attached with 3 needle bind off method.

If I wanted a bigger skirt I would have started at later rows (#20+) and to get a longer skirt I would repeat the rows with the eyelet pattern.

This 100% mulberry silk is simply gorgeous and super springy. When I walk in this skirt, it bounces with me (flirty skirt, not me!).
