Top. Seamless, in rounds, on US 6 started from collar 166 sts, increased by 4 rep in sea foam sts for the sleeves. Continued bodice with 160 sts in rounds. Half of the top is ribbed 3x1 to create a fitted look around the waist (160 sts).

Skirt. Circular, cast on 8 reps x 26 sts knitting afterglow shawl border. Did some adaptation to maintain desired st count. Finished skirt with 127 sts. Using 3 bind off on US 8 attached skirt to the top. Attached elastic band through lower part of the band.

Note in the project. Bottom up, “afterglow” border from the shawl pattern not only gorgeous, but saves A LOT of yarn. A large portion of the skirt is empty! Since yarn is relatively heavy for summer, these holes open up fabric quite wonderfully for the hot weather. Love the project and yarn. Colors are amazing! The project was fast because of the large needles, thicker yarn and little flaring on the skirt. Black underdress brings out better motifs, yellow colors and openings in the fabric (better for summer). Pictures on the bottom shows dress with curry underdress and visually closes the fabric (probably better look for the fall).
