I love this pattern, it looks so complicated and intricate!

Construction of the dress. On US 0 casted 10 reps x 34 sts in rounds, started to knit bottom up to the waist. Then 3 “ below natural waist line started to knit in ribbing (right side: k2, yo, ssk; wrong side k2tog, yo, k2) for 6 “ gradually decreasing sts count to half (170 sts). Then started to knit again in Frost flower pattern picking sts as need for 6 reps.

Sleeves. Sleeves were knitted separately 2 reps wide, knitting 1.5 reps long, then knitting in ribbing described above for 6 “, then again frost flower pattern for 1.5 reps long. Finally, joined 2 sleeves to the bodice, and then continued to knit in rounds the rest of the bodice and collar.

Embellishments. Cuffs, collar and bottom of the skirt were finished by crocheting 2 rows for stability and a nice finish. The elastic was inserted in collar for a fit. Also simple belt was knitted and lined through the waist line.
