Notes
Sweater.
On US 9 casted 96 sts and started to knit in rounds ribbing 2x2. Then switched to US 10.5 and continue to knit per pattern cables until reached the armholes. Then knitted sleeves (4 reps wide) separately and finally, joined them to the bodice and continued to knit in cables decreasing cable to 2x2 up to collar area. Finished the sweater with ribbing 2x2 for turtle neck.
My son loves this sweater! The yarn is truly awesome and warm.
People who want to get a little taste of cable project, this is to try since it is super easy one.
Tip for stretchy bind off. Since turtle neck requires to be super stretchy, I found this awesome method called Jeny’s surprisingly super stretchy bind off.
Hat.
Finally, my youngerst son allowed me to make the hat and the matching scarf for him and even a sweater.
He makes the hat look cute…
I used thinner yarn than called for and thus, got the right size for his small head.
Pattern is simple and GREAT!
